The Modello Uno ref.U1-PA is a tribute to the Paracadutisti, the Italian army’s infantry corps paratroopers. The paratroopers’ badge is represented on the dial at six o’clock, reproducing two stylized wings surmounted by a parachute and in their centre the five-pointed star that stands for the values of the Esercito. The reference features the new orienteering bezel allows the watch to be used as a compass and the tough built makes it suitable to any condition.

Modello Uno ref. U1-PA is the Made in Italy diving watch. It features a matte black high-readability dial with silver Paracadutisti logo, markers in Super-LumiNova® C3 pale green, silver open second rail and dial trims, and a black compass aluminium insert with silver trims.

Time is indicated thanks to the matching phantom ladder hands set and the reverse lollipop second hand with Super-LumiNova® C3 pale green tip. The double domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal provides the best performance in every light condition.

The solid 316 brushed stainless steel case, the screwed-in 2mm thick caseback, the 8mm diameter crown together with the high quality gaskets set provide a water resistance tested individually to 30 atm=300m=1000ft.

Timing accuracy is guaranteed by the NH35A automatic movement tuned to 21600bph with 41h power reserve and hacking second hand. It comes on a camouflage jacquard nylon NATO strap with stainless steel brushed hardware signed Unimatic, and an extra black heavy-duty Unimatic nylon NATO strap.

The caseback features the Unimatic x Esercito screw-down caseback and the individual progressive number. The watch is covered by a 24 months worldwide warranty and is part of a unique edition of 300 pieces.
