The UNIMATIC Modello Uno ref. U1-TAB is a limited-edition professional diving toolwatch developed in collaboration with legendary Italian marine engineering name Tullio Abbate. Housed in a brushed 316L stainless steel case measuring 40mm (41.5mm with the bezel), it features a 120-click mono-directional safety bezel with a reflex blue aluminum insert bearing the iconic Tullio Abbate number 5. Protected by a 2.5mm double-domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the matte white dial with reflex blue trims utilizes Super-LumiNova® GL C3 and reflex blue ladder phantom hands with a matte red tip for maximum legibility. Built for high-performance aquatic environments, it guarantees a 300M water resistance and incorporates UNIMATIC’s signature 8mm Alchemical Sun screw-down crown.
Powered by the automatic NH35A caliber, it features hacking seconds and bi-directional automatic winding, with each unit individually tested for accuracy. This exclusive reference offers a highly controlled, sport-driven aesthetic, delivered on a reflex blue TPU quick-release strap alongside an additional cool gray nylon strap with signed hardware. Limited to just 200 individually numbered units worldwide, it comes packaged in a custom UNIMATIC x Tullio Abbate tough case with a unique ID-seal warranty card.

What is an automatic watch?
The UNIMATIC automatic watch is a self-winding mechanical timepiece powered not by a battery, but by the natural kinetic energy generated from the wearer’s arm movements.
Automatic watches are more sensitive to factors like temperature fluctuations, impacts, and how they are worn.
Consequently, they may not run as precisely as quartz watches, and any timekeeping variations depend on the specific movement type.
Based on experience, new mechanical watches may initially show slight time inaccuracies, which generally self-regulate over time.
What is a bezel used for?
Dive / Elapsed Time Bezel:
Marked from 0 to 60 minutes, this bezel rotates only counter-clockwise. Align the triangle (0 marker) with the current position of the minute hand to track the elapsed time at a glance.
Countdown Bezel: Marked in reverse, from 60 down to 0, this bezel is designed for timing a set interval. Rotate it so the desired number of minutes (for example, 15) lines up with the minute hand. When the minute hand reaches the 0 marker, the countdown is complete.
GMT Bezel: Featuring a 24-hour scale, the GMT bezel rotates in both directions and works together with your watch's GMT hand to display a second time zone. By adjusting the bezel, you can also track a third time zone.
Compass Bezel: Marked with the cardinal directions, the compass bezel can be used for basic navigation. Point the hour hand toward the sun, then use the bezel's directional markings to determine north and south.

Yes. Every diver is water resistant to 300m, individually pressure-tested, and built around a screw-down caseback and crown with a mono-directional safety bezel, fully rated for professional diving.

Each piece is produced in a strictly limited edition and numbered by hand on the caseback, guaranteeing its authenticity and its place within the series.
How durable are UNIMATIC watches for daily wear?
The 316L stainless steel case, double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and 360° protection system are engineered to take daily knocks in stride, from the desk to the water.
What is a reference number?
A reference number is an alphanumeric code associated with each watch model (e.g., U1S-T-MP).
You can find the reference number in the documents provided at the time of purchase, such as the International Warranty certificate, or on the case-back of your watch.
Does the stainless steel bracelet fit my watch?
The UNIMATIC UBR-TLQ18 solid stainless steel bracelet is compatible with almost all the UNIMATIC lineup. Above is a chart to help you choose the correct end-link variation for your watch. Please note that the bracelet is available in two different finishes: Brushed and Sandblasted. While a bracelet may be mechanically compatible with your watch in terms of fit and attachment, it may not match the watch aesthetically if the finish is different.
