The UNIMATIC Modello Uno U1-MI is a Made in Italy automatic dive watch inspired by twelve of the brand’s most sought-after collaborations. Created exclusively for the UNIMATIC flagship store in Milan, this special edition brings together distinctive colors, materials, and design details from landmark UNIMATIC watches in one original timepiece. The twelve-sector dial features individually color-matched details and luminous treatments, creating a distinctive interpretation of the iconic Modello Uno design. Rather than reissuing past collaborations, the U1-MI celebrates UNIMATIC’s history through a completely new watch.
Designed as a professional dive watch, the UNIMATIC U1-MI features a 40mm 316L stainless steel case, 300m / 30 ATM water resistance, a 120-click unidirectional safety bezel, and a 2.5mm double-domed sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating. The watch is powered by the reliable automatic NH35A movement, offering more than 41 hours of power reserve, with both automatic and manual winding. Made in Italy and available exclusively in Milan, the Modello Uno U1-MI combines UNIMATIC’s utilitarian design philosophy, Italian craftsmanship, and a unique tribute to the collaborations that have shaped the brand.

What is an automatic watch?
The UNIMATIC automatic watch is a self-winding mechanical timepiece powered not by a battery, but by the natural kinetic energy generated from the wearer’s arm movements.
Automatic watches are more sensitive to factors like temperature fluctuations, impacts, and how they are worn.
Consequently, they may not run as precisely as quartz watches, and any timekeeping variations depend on the specific movement type.
Based on experience, new mechanical watches may initially show slight time inaccuracies, which generally self-regulate over time.
Are UNIMATIC watches truly professional diver tools?
Yes. Every diver is water resistant to 300m, individually pressure-tested, and built around a screw-down caseback and crown with a mono-directional safety bezel, fully rated for professional diving.
Why is every UNIMATIC watch individually numbered?
Each piece is produced and individually numbered with an engraved number on the caseback.
Inside the packaging, the international warranty card handwritten, further confirming the authenticity and unique place of each piece within the series.
How durable are UNIMATIC watches for daily wear?
The 316L stainless steel case, double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and 360° protection system are engineered to take daily knocks in stride, from the desk to the water.
What kind of lume is used for low-light visibility?
Hands and indices are treated (unless stated) with Super-LumiNova® colours picked to match the design details, delivering a strong, long-lasting glow for clear legibility in low-light and underwater conditions. It is not radioactive and requires exposure to light (natural or artificial) to charge.
Are UNIMATIC watches water resistant?
All UNIMATIC cases are engineered to provide exceptional water resistance. Every UNIMATIC watch is individually tested to ensure a minimum water resistance of 300m (30 ATM), while selected on case modello 1 featuring our enhanced case construction are tested to withstand 600m (60 ATM).
Before exposing your watch to water, always make sure the crown and, where applicable, the pushers are fully screwed down and securely tightened. Never operate the crown or pushers while the watch is underwater.
After use in seawater, rinse the watch thoroughly with fresh water and dry it completely.Please refer to your specific model's technical specifications to confirm its certified water resistance rating.
What is a bezel used for?
Dive / Elapsed Time Bezel:
Marked from 0 to 60 minutes, this bezel rotates only counter-clockwise. Align the triangle (0 marker) with the current position of the minute hand to track the elapsed time at a glance.
Countdown Bezel: Marked in reverse, from 60 down to 0, this bezel is designed for timing a set interval. Rotate it so the desired number of minutes (for example, 15) lines up with the minute hand. When the minute hand reaches the 0 marker, the countdown is complete.
GMT Bezel: Featuring a 24-hour scale, the GMT bezel rotates in both directions and works together with your watch's GMT hand to display a second time zone. By adjusting the bezel, you can also track a third time zone.
Compass Bezel: Marked with the cardinal directions, the compass bezel can be used for basic navigation. Point the hour hand toward the sun, then use the bezel's directional markings to determine north and south.
