Brand Guidelines

24 Sept 2026

Founded in 2015, UNIMATIC utilizes only premium materials and top-tier industry resources. The brand upholds its rigorous standards through an obsessive attention to detail.

The brand’s name is a fusion of the Italian word unico (unique) and the Greek word autòmatos (self-moving). This reflects UNIMATIC’s core mission: crafting limited-edition timepieces that deliver exceptional functionality, clean lines, and an unrivaled standard of quality within their price range.

Designed primarily as robust tools, every UNIMATIC watch combines pro-level durability, rigorously tested for 300-meter water resistance, tactile precision, engineered for the distinct and satisfying click of the bezel, meticulous engineering with highly legible dials and flawlessly executed cases, and curated details, accompanied by carefully chosen, premium accessories.

Intro

The UNIMATIC identity is rooted in precision, modularity, and understated confidence. Inspired by industrial design, military instrumentation, and modern architecture, the brand communicates through clean geometry, monochromatic palettes, and disciplined visual systems. This balance between utility and refinement shapes every touchpoint, from product design and packaging to photography, typography, and digital experiences.

These guidelines establish the foundations of the Unimatic visual and verbal identity, ensuring consistency across all communications while preserving the brand’s distinctive minimalist ethos.

Values

Our values define the UNIMATIC brand strategy and guide product development.

Timelessness — Timeless designs that balance vintage heritage with contemporary innovation.

Utility — Watches designed as tools, where every feature serves a clear and practical purpose.

Quality — High standards of materials, craftsmanship and performance within their price range.

Essentialism — Clean, purposeful design that removes the unnecessary and highlights what matters.

Exclusivity — Limited production that keeps each timepiece distinctive and collectible.

Resilience — Built for demanding use, with rigorous testing and dependable long-term performance.

Tone of voice

Language is a fundamental pillar of our identity; when used with precision, it defines how the world perceives our craft. To maintain our standing in the global market, we must speak with a unified and consistent authority.

The word UNIMATIC must always be written in uppercase in all text and press materials.

Direct & Transparent

We utilize a neutral, straightforward tone to describe our products. Our communication should be as clear and understandable as our watch dials—stripping away fluff to deliver honest information.

Visual Storytelling

UNIMATIC prioritizes the “clean design” of our watches. Whenever possible, let the visuals speak for themselves. We avoid over-complicating descriptions with excessive technical jargon, choosing instead to communicate our quality through striking imagery and essential facts.

Logotype

The logo is the most distinctive element of our identity—a universal signature across all UNIMATIC communications. It serves as a mark of quality, uniting our products and offerings under a single visual standard. At times, the primary logo is complemented by the Alchemical Sun secondary mark, and it may also feature an accompanying payoff positioned beneath it.

Logo permanent lines

Below are the logos used to communicate information about specific lines within our permanent collections.

Logo sizes

Logo sizing should be constrained to ensure a consistent layout across all media. For horizontal formats, a centered logo should be set at one-fifth of the total width. For vertical formats, a centered logo should be set at one-third of the total width.

Safe area

All content should be positioned within 80% of the canvas to maintain clarity and visual balance. This approach creates sufficient negative space, allowing the layout to breathe and enhancing overall readability. This general guidance applies to digital or print applications, including both portrait and landscape orientations. When creating a composition, place the logo in one of the four corners, or center it on the central vertical axis.

Logo color

The logo color is flexible and may be adapted to suit its application. Black and white are the preferred choices, ensuring clarity through strong contrast. The following fundamental rules are designed to achieve optimal definition. Unless required by a specific context, the logo should be used in either black or white.

Logo should sit highly contrasting its background. Do not combine it with busy images or artworks – that would influence its legibility.

Collaborations logo lock ups

The collaboration lock ups have multiple applications and are used in various context.
Making sure both logos are clear enough and balanced helps with a clear communication and direct recognizability. When collaborating UNIMATIC logo always goes first.
