Once molded, the billet goes trough many machining steps to produce the case. The whole process is a highly precise material removing procedure to the decimal of a millimeter, making sure water resistance is retained and all the parts lock properly.
In tandem with the ultralight forged carbon case, UNIMATIC has integrated slimmer automatic Swiss movements into their timepieces. The first run of forged carbon is made exclusively with HODINKEE in a two ways limited collaboration of 250 pieces each. The drop features a Modello Quattro equipped with a Sellita SW200-1 b in a functional time only piece and a Modello Uno mounting an ETA 2893-2 that boasts a GMT complication.
